- "End result: a unit where patients have adequate space and privacy in which to be assessed and treated for their various cancers, a unit where our acutely unwell patients can be assessed promptly and managed effectively, helping relieve the pressures on the Emergency Room, and enhancing our patients' experience at distressing phases in their illness." says Dr Oscar Breathnach

Ambu Scope and Video Laryngoscope for Emergency Deptartment
- according to Peadar Gilligan, "the scope will educate doctors in airway management and is an excellent addition to our Difficult Airway Trolley."
- Bladder Scanner for Neuroscience Directorate
- Jayne Browne says "The scanner will play a vital role in the assessment and rehabilitation restoring maximum independence to over 500 head, spinal, trauma and stroke patients every year."
- Standing Hoists for Hardwick Ward and Occupational Therapy Unit
- These hoists can be activated by a single nurse enabling 500 patients to be attended much faster per Carol Lyons in Hardwick while Carole Murphy says 800 persons will benefit with significant cost savings.
- Wheelchair Accessible Shower in Corrigan Ward
- Laura o Connor tells us that this shower will benefit up to 10 patients per day saving them having to transfer to other wards just to have a shower.
- Save my Access Wristbands for Transplant Urology Department
- Patients headuing towards dislysis will benefit from this simple reminder to protect their lifeline and cuts down on the need for temporary lines according to Sr Louise McSkean.
