Patient care at Beaumont Hospital the big winner in annual BHF draws!

The role of our summer and winter draws cannot be underestimated. Tireless work by the team here at the Foundation combined with hard working ticket sellers always means each draw raises lots of funds. These funds are distributed through our Grant Scheme to projects focusing on improving patient care at Beaumont Hospital.

Christmas Raffle 2011

Our second draw of the year took place the week before Christmas but all the hard work was done a few months in advance as usual.

1st prize of €5,000 went to P Ruddy of Co Cavan, 2nd prize went to M Donnelly of Co Longford and Seller Prize of €500 went to M Nolan. Congratulations to each of you and thank you for your support.

This year our appeal supported a brand new 25 unit Day Care Hospital which will provide day care for older adults requiring minor treatment with the potential of releasing up to 6,000 bed nights at Beaumont. We have obtained planning permission and hope to have this unit built and opened in rearly 2013. We would like to thank everyone who bought a ticket for our chrsitmas draw.

Summer Raffle 2011

The first prize of €10,000 was won by U O Riordan, Dublin 5. The seller’s prize was won by A Shiels, Dublin 5. Congratulations to our winners.

The generosity of our supporters and the work of our ticket sellers keep us going. It is a very tough times for charities all over Ireland and indeed worldwide, they really go the extra mile for us and we are eternally grateful.
