Beaumont Hospital International Foundation

The Foundation was founded in 2000 and is a nonprofit, tax exempt organisation. Its aim is to raise funds for medical research into diseases such as diabetes, cancer, neurological disorders etc. This research will be carried out principally at Beaumont Hospital in Dublin, Ireland. The results of research will benefit people of all ethnic, economic and geographic backgrounds.

The Launch

The Beaumont Hospital Foundation US appeal had its formal public launch at a concert in Symphony Space Theatre on Broadway on November 15th 2000. Renowned Irish songwriter, Pete St. John and his friends played to a full and enthusiastic house. Guests were later hosted at a party in Rosie O'Gradys in Time Square.
