After 9 weeks of planning, rehearsing, fittings and much
more, the night finally arrived when Beaumont Hospital's
finest modelling talent descended on the National Show Centre
in Cloghran. It took two days to set up the stage, lighting
and sound for this great night.

There were over 1,000 people in this superb North Dublin venue waiting
for the show to start. The night kicked off just after 8.00pm on
Thursday, May 30th, with drums and fire juggling, which provided
an opening that set the standards for the night. When the models
hit the catwalk, the screams went up, the cameras flashed and the
posing started. The show lasted nearly two hours and included clothes
from Vera Moda, Morgan, Replay and more. Some of the surprises on
the night included the army falling from the roof for 'Its Raining
Men', the Army No. 1 Band providing the music and members of the
Dublin Fire Brigade who stole the show with the Full Monty.
Models on the night include the hospital Chief Executive, General
Manager and various doctors and consultants as well as members
of staff from all departments within the hospital.
The Final Act on the night was a monster raffle with prizes
that included a €1000 shopping spree in the Pavilion's Swords,
holiday vouchers from Wallace Travel and beautiful jewellery from
Appelbys Jewellers.
A big thank you from Beaumont Hospital Foundation to all those who helped
make the night the biggest ever staged by us. The list is enormous
but includes Mr. John Brady (Show Producer), Ms. Lorraine Bond
(Show Director) and all those within the hospital who helped out.
