Beaumont Hospital Foundation Leopardstown Charity Sweepstakes sponsored this year by BCM Hanby Wallace took place bank holiday Monday 30th October. After a week of thunder and lightening the ground was well suited for our charity riders.

Congratulations to the winning rider - MV Magnier who rode to victory on one of Aidan O'Brien's horses - Sahara Desert. Sue O'Doherty ran a very good race and came in second place on Dilly Stars and Paul McMahon came in third on Airolo. The over 40 prize went to - Tadhg Darcy who rode Majesty's Dancer.

After the race the riders, owners, trainers and their guests enjoyed some 'ceol agus craic' in the Levmoss Suite.

Beaumont Hospital Foundation would like to thank BCM Hanby Wallace, the Committee members Martin O'Donnell (race co-ordinator), Frank Crimmins, Joe O'Sullivan, the riders, trainers and owners for their support and commitment to our charity sweepstakes this year and previous years. We look forward to seeing you all there again in 2004!
