It is with great regret that Beaumont Hospital Foundation have
to announce the cancellation of this year's planned participation
in the Beijing Marathon. We had been hoping to send a team to
take part in the event this October but now have to withdraw.
The decision was taken due to the outbreak of the SARS virus.
As the number of people who have contracted the virus grows, this
year's challenge has been cancelled.
We wish to apologise to all those who were planning to travel
on the challenge but feel that the best decision has been made
in the current circumstances. We will be contacting all those
concerned directly.
Thank for your understanding with this matter and we look forward
to your continued support. Remember we still have challenges in
Austria,
New
York and Vietnam
this year.
