Beaumont Hospital Foundation - Welcome to our web site.

Last year was a significant year for Beaumont Hospital Foundation (BHF) with the launch of our desk in the front foyer of the Hospital and the ongoing success of our Grant Scheme — a quarter of a million euro to twenty five projects within the Hospital in 2008 alone.

It has been a successful year due to the strong fundraising efforts of our Friends, Eventers, draws and Staff in our office. We will be challenged by the general economic uncertainty in 2009; however, we are pushing ahead with our agenda to continue to support Patient care at Beaumont Hospital.

We are working with the Hospital to identify how we can help deliver new projects that will impact on direct Patient care. As well as helping to purchase new modern equipment we will shortly identify new goals for 2009.

We opened our new front desk in the Hospital foyer and all are welcome to drop over and say hello to Louise and Ciara. The desk has helped to enhance our presence in the Hospital and the Foundation has greatly benefitted from the facility.

We are constantly looking to expand our Friends network; with this in mind we welcome a new Board member. On behalf of the Board of Directors I offer a warm welcome to Noel McSweeney, who brings many years of business experience to the challenges that face us in 2009 and beyond.

With the strong platform of the Grant Scheme over the last two years, granting nearly a half a million euro to fifty Patient care projects within the Hospital, we now look forward to the future.
